Happy, Healthy, Hearthside Puppies.
We want each puppy to love the people in their lives, and for you to love your Hearthside puppy!
At Hearthside Country, our sincere desire is to make sure each one of our Maltipoo puppies goes to a forever home in which they are loved, cared for and can live a long healthy happy life.
Hearthside Country’s Maltipoo Puppies

At Hearthside Country, we are dedicated to raising beautiful, happy, healthy, and well-socialized Maltipoo puppies.
We achieve this by cuddling and smooching and spending lots of time with our Maltipoo puppy babes. We do baths, brushing, nails, etc., Each puppy receives lots of personal love and attention with daily exercise and playtime. We also send a Snuggle Puppy home with each one of our puppies. Our Maltipoo puppies love going to their forever home with a scent from their first home. We put a lot of time, love and expense into each of our Maltipoo puppies.
We give each puppy, imprinting exercises from day 3 to day 16. We want you to have a healthy, happy and beautiful new Maltipoo puppy to add to your family.
We also take excellent care of our adult dogs. We love them and they love us too. They also receive plenty of attention and exercise daily. We often take our dogs to dog shows. Their pedigrees reflect many champions in the background, and they may have their champion title as well. We have our own groom shop, so our adults also get pampered with their spa days. ❤️
We love hearing back from so many good people where our puppies have joined their forever families. We have many families all across our country, some in Canada and even the Dominican Republic who have adopted our Maltipoo puppies. We get calls and emails from Europe, UK, AUS, Africa too, but no puppies have gone to those places “yet”!
Hearthside Country Quilts

I have been sewing since I was 9 years old. It is something I love to do! We even have a sewing machine in our RV. I began quilting when a good friend of mine, who was often sewing quilts, inspired me to make one for our grandbaby Morgan. She was born in March of 2019. Before that, I sewed baby blankets or crocheted them. Since then, I’ve made quilts for all 13 grandchildren, our grown children and their spouses as well as for friends. Now, I have my own longarm quilting machine, so I can do the complete quilt, from start to finish.
Quilting is another way that I share love with others. When I make a quilted item for someone, I am thinking about them as I sew, sometimes praying for them, and having happy thoughts. In that way, Hearthside quilts are more than just a blanket—they have lots of time and love in them as well. Typically, I use all cotton fabrics, unless someone has requested a different type of material. I do sell already made quilts, and even though it is not a made to order quilt, it is still something I have had a lot of fun making. Feel free to contact me with any requests, questions, etc, about what we are doing here. 💕

We no rarely use air transport anymore. Covid brought about a lot of changes in our world. This one is one I am very happy about. We have some great people we work with who provide ground transport right to your door. You will pay them directly, no extra fees on my part, and it makes my book-keeping a bit easier. The main company I use is Wags on Wheels. They are based about an hour from us, and take such great care of the puppies. They always have 2 in each van, and they go pretty much 24/7, getting puppies to their homes quickly. Wags on Wheels, goes out 3 times a month. The current price is 400.00 for all over the usa, except the northwest area, and possibly CA as well. If you live in an area that is not served by a good ground delivery company, we still have access to air transport and that can be arranged as well. 😊
It depends on whether we ship by air or ground. Ground transport is preferred, and we can meet you in person. In ground transport, the puppy stays in their own clean crate, is well cared for, and delivered right to your door. If we use air transport, the puppy travels in a secure cargo crate, held firmly, and will likely sleep during the flight. We’ll also send a Snuggle Puppy by mail – It’s a toy scented with the puppy’s family to help comfort them. Please give it to your puppy, it’s a big help. If you prefer, you can fly here and pick up your puppy at SGF airport, free of charge. For the safety of our puppies, we can no longer allow visits to our facility. Thank you for your understanding.

Yes, many of our adult dogs have been tested. If you would like more information, please feel free to ask us about the test results when you call or email us.
A Hearthside Country puppy will never be homeless. We can look after your puppy, and the first week is free. After 9 weeks old, there’s a $10 daily boarding fee, which covers vaccinations, food, and socialization. We recommend picking up your puppy as soon as possible to begin training and to bond with their new family. The boarding fee doesn’t apply to puppies under 2 pounds at 8 weeks old. No puppy will leave here until it’s either 2 pounds or 12 weeks old, whichever comes first. Thank you for your understanding.
Yes, you can come and pick up your puppy. That is not a problem at all. I can meet you as well. I will drive an hour any direction for free. After that, it rather depends on gas prices. They change so much these days.
We recommend Nutri-Source Super Premium Pet Foods. This is manufactured by Tuffy’s Pet Foods Inc., right here in the USA. It is made with Real Chicken as the #1 ingredient. Includes highly digestible rice, barley and oatmeal, along with a balanced omega 3 and 6 nutritions. You can read more about it on their website – and find where to get it. We use the Small to Medium Breed Formula for our Maltipoos. We use this same brand for all of our adult dogs. We include two sample size packages with each puppy.
We get asked this question quite often, so I put together a quick video to help answer it.
People often ask how often a puppy should be bathed. Some say no more than every 5 to 6 weeks, but my advice is simple: if your puppy is dirty give them a bath – just be sure to rinse very well. An Aussie leave-in conditioner is nice to use after or between baths. It helps keep the coat fresh-smelling and well conditioned.
For most owners, we recommend a mild puppy shampoo, preferably one with oatmeal or skin conditioners. The most important thing is to rinse thoroughly. You do not want to leave any shampoo or conditioner residue on your puppy, as it can dry out their skin and coat.
